    Handling Investigations, Grievance, Disciplinary, Dignity & Respect

    The aim of this programme is to provide participants with the knowledge skills and confidence necessary to handle the grievance and disciplinary process effectively and to conduct workplace investigations in line with best practice and employment law.

    The programme focuses particularly on two essential Codes of Practice:

    1. Code of Practice on the Prevention & Resolution of Bullying at Work (2021)
    2. Code of Practice on Grievance & Disciplinary

    Key Objectives:

    On completion of this training participants will be able to:

    • Implement best practice for handling Bullying and Harassment issues
    • Understand the roles of ‘Contact’ person and ‘Nominated ‘person
    • Identify between Informal & Formal Investigations
    • Apply the Principles of Natural Justice
    • Follow appropriate steps in disciplinary action including gross misconduct
    • Handle Grievance complaints in line with the Code of Practice

    Managers, Department Supervisors or Senior staff who have responsibility for directing work through others.
