This one hour workshop is here to prepare you to sell the best version of yourself, make your CV stand out from the rest and more job search top tips to help you tick all the boxes for recruiter
Session 2 - Developing 'Brand You' within your Job Search
Create a 'Brand You' that Employers want to hire. This seminar gets job seekers to focused on taking a business approach to every job application. It provides simple steps to take that will immediately differentiate you from your competition. It also looks at the key branding tools to use when searching for a job, including cover Letters, LinkedIn, managing your on-line presence, networking & the hidden job market and how to follow up on important job applications.
Session 3 - Interview Skills
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. This one hour workshop will look specifically at the objectives of an interview which means you will be able to prepare yourself to cover 80% of the questions you will be asked. The session will provide tips on how answer ‘tell me about yourself’, what questions you should ask at the end of the interview and how to manage awkward questions.
Session 4 - Building Resilience during Job Search
Understanding resilience and identifying ways you can build your resilience is essential when job seeking. This one hour workshop looks at importance of resilience in job search, identifies the factors that can influence resilience and concludes by looking at practical resources which can be used to build resilience for job search and beyond.
Your Trainer: Elizabeth Cox
Elizabeth Cox has over 20 years' experience as a recruiter across a variety of sectors including Medtech, Healthcare, Engineering/Technical and Accountancy. In 2014, Elizabeth completed a MSc in Applied Psychology (Guidance and Counselling) from UCC. Her experience in providing career consultancy includes work as a Career Advisor in University College Cork and Waterford Institute of Technology, providing career advice, delivering career relevant workshops, and offering 1:1 career coaching and mentorship to third level students. Working closely with industry leaders, Elizabeth has a strong understanding of the world of work, and what skills are required to engage successfully with employers.
