      Description

      COURSE OBJECTIVES

      To support managers and supervisors in effectively managing the performance process and the performance appraisal interview. The programme will give participants the confidence to deal with challenging behaviour and performance-related issues. Furthermore, it addresses how to continue to maintain high levels of performance from staff that are performing well.

      At the end of this course participants will:

      • Understand the benefits of effective appraisal management
      • Understand key steps in the performance management cycle
      • Have confidence in managing appraisals
      • Develop both informal and formal feedback approaches to staff
      • Develop effective alignment of staff with organisational objectives
      • Develop a management style which supports greater engagement from staff
